PART EXCHANGE TO CLEAR / SPARES OR REPAIR / CAT B BACK IN 2009 - This 1994 Honda CBR600F has arrived with us in part exchange. It is generally tidy for a 29 year old bike with nearly 50K miles, but it isn't to the standard that we expect our retail bikes to meet. A vehicle check also shows it as a Cat B as a result of an accident in May 2009, although it has continued to be used on the road, with at least 10 MOT's since then. The vehicle report states, "This vehicle has been declared unsuitable or beyond repair, and has been identified to be crushed in it's entirety". When bikes are categorised as Cat B it is most common for them to be broken for spare parts or to end up as a track bike. We don't know how this bike continued to spend the last 14 years on the road, but we want to make the postiion 100% clear to any prospective buyers. The last MOT was on 24th March 2023, where the only advisory was a slightly damaged rear tyre valve stem. Please note that this bike will be "sold as seen" in it's current condition, without our usual valeting and workshop inspection processes, and without warranty. The invoice will be marked as "Spares or repair".
