SPARES OR REPAIR DUE TO GEARBOX WHINE IN FIRST GEAR. This Suzuki GSX1400 with Delkevic exhausts was intially part of our retail stock. We had sold the bike, but while getting it ready last week we noticed a whine in first gear. While you can hear it, you can't feel it, and the whine doesn't seem to be in any other gear. We don't know whether it's a new problem or an old problem, but we can't sell the bike as a retail bike like this. Unfortunately, it isn't economically viable for us to strip and repair on a bike of this age and value, so we've reduce the price on our web site, and also entered the bike into an Ebay auction. Other than the gearbox whine, it is in very good condition with just 14,263 miles. The bike was the subject of a category D insurance claim in 2007. From what we can see, it looks like the subframe has been repaired. It's just had a fresh service and MOT. Both tyres are in excellent condition with no signs of squaring off at all. There are 2 keys present. The specification includes DNA security markings, black fly screen, radiator guard, crash bobbins, R&G bar end sliders, heated grips, Delkevic exhausts, rear hugger, and LED indicators.
